The World Premier of The Friendship Suite featuring 1,500 5th grade singers

Baker was commissioned by the Sioux Falls School District to write a three-song suite about friendship. 

 

He performed with 1,500 5th graders at the Washington Pavilion.  Accompanied by strings and a rock band with horns.

As part of the project, he developed a teacher training with the Kennedy Center on how to use music to teach language arts skills.
